Pearland411 is a local business directory and community platform designed to help users discover local services, events, and businesses in Pearland, Texas. The platform allows individuals and business owners to create, manage, and promote listings.

3. User Responsibilities
You agree to use Pearland411 only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
Use the site to distribute spam, malware, or harmful material
Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property or privacy
Attempt to interfere with the website's functionality or security

4. Account Registration
To add listings or access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Content Ownership
Any content you upload — including business details, photos, or descriptions — remains your property. However, by submitting content to Pearland411, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and promote it on our platform.

6. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to ensure accuracy, Pearland411 does not guarantee that all listings or information are current, complete, or error-free. Users are encouraged to verify details directly with businesses.

7. Paid Plans & Services
Pearland411 offers paid listing plans and advertising packages, priced on our pricing page. By purchasing a paid service, you agree to the price shown at checkout and to the Refund & Cancellation Policy in section 8.

8. Refund & Cancellation Policy

What renews, and what does not

Business listing plans (for example Advanced or Featured) are recurring only if you turn on auto-renew at checkout. With auto-renew on, your card is charged again at the start of every term until you cancel. We email you 3 days before each renewal charge, and send a receipt after it. Without auto-renew, the plan simply ends at the end of the term you bought.
Banners, videos, add-ons and packages are one-time charges. You are charged once; the placement runs for the term you bought and then ends. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
The free Basic listing costs nothing and is never charged.

How to cancel

You can cancel yourself, at any time: sign in, open My Account and press Cancel auto-renew. No further charges are made. Your plan stays active until the end of the term you have already paid for; after that your business stays in the directory and the paid features switch off.
Prefer not to do it online? Contact our support team (details below) and we will cancel it for you.

Refunds

A listing upgrade or ad placement starts as soon as payment clears, so payments are not refundable once the term has started, except where:
- you were charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a renewal taken after you had cancelled auto-renew; or
- a placement you paid for could not run because of a problem on our side.
Refunds are not self-service — contact our support team to request one, within 30 days of the charge. Include the email address on your account, the business name and the date of the charge.
Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, through our payment processor (Helcim). Banks usually show the credit within 5–10 business days.

9. Limitation of Liability
Pearland411 and its team are not liable for any losses, damages, or issues arising from the use of our website or reliance on information provided by third parties.

10. Termination of Use
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account or listing that violates our terms, causes harm, or misuses the platform in any way.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of the website after updates means you accept the revised terms.
